Roland Memisevic new Junior Professor at BFNT Frankfurt
Roland Memisevic has accepted a call as Junior Professor (W1) for Computer Vision and Machine Learning at the Goethe University Frankfurt. The position is part of the Bernstein Focus Neurotechnology Frankfurt (August 2010).

Roland Memisevic first studied music in Arnhem, The Netherlands, before he finished his diploma studies in computer science with distinction at the University of Bielefeld. In March 2008, he obtained a PhD in computer science from the University of Toronto, where he worked with Geoffrey Hinton on non-linear latent factor models for high-dimensional data. During and after his PhD research he also worked in industry (Microsoft/Redmond and PNYlab/Princeton, USA). Since January 2010, Roland Memisevic is post doc in the lab of Marc Pollefeys at ETH Zurich (Switzerland).
