Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience (BCCN)

Space-Time

The Bernstein Center Munich focuses on the question how spatial, temporal and spatio-temporal aspects of the environment of an animal are represented in its brain. These neuronal representations are investigated through modern experimental methods, computational models and theoretical analyses of different sensory modalities (acoustic, vestibular, visual) in several brain areas and model systems.
