The Bernstein Center Göttingen founded to advance Theoretical Neurophysics focuses on the adaptivity of the nervous system. To investigate the mechanisms of extremely swift and accurate neuronal information processing a combination of mathematical modelling and computer simulations in combination with sophisticated experimental methods is applied.
